In the village of Val Suran in the southern Jura region, AS’Bois’ turners and carvers embody ancestral skill. This ‘Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant’-labelled company combines traditional technique and cutting-edge innovation to create beautiful pieces that pay tribute to the elegance of their raw material: wood. Surrounded by Franche-Comté mountain forests, by choosing to work with sustainable, local materials, the workshop puts eco-friendliness and respect for the environment at the heart of its approach. It creates refined wooden trays and candlesticks for Diptyque. Designed as an ode to nature in all its raw beauty, this collection of pieces elevates and emphasises the wood grain in a series of curves reminiscent of the Diptyque oval.
