Resplendent on its ceramic platter, this moulded wax object presides over the dinner table. Its clean, refined design includes four dinner candles, casting a spell over the entire room once lit.

Made entirely out of moulded scented wax, perfuming this centrepiece presents a real challenge and requires extensive expertise. The white bisque tray is made by the Manufacture de Couleuvre in France.

Story

To celebrate the holiday season, Diptyque is showcasing the magic of the flame in a unique manner. In the form of a calligram inspired by the poetic definition found in the Encyclopédie des Lumières, "flame" becomes the central motif of a special collection.

Know-how

The mastery of the perfumer's art on display in this centrepiece, made entirely of moulded, scented wax, is a genuine challenge. Considerable expertise is required to ensure the subtle diffusion of the fragrance, 34 Boulevard Saint-Germain. It comes with an oval platter on which this address, so iconic to the Maison, has been realised in white biscuit by Manufacture de Couleuvre in France.

Directions for use

- The centrepiece should only be used while standing on the ceramic platter designed for this purpose.
- We recommend against allowing the centrepiece to burn for longer than 3 hours maximum.
- Regularly trim the wicks (ideal length: 3 to 5 mm).
- The ceramic platter can be washed in clear warm water.
- We recommend airing a room after burning a candle.

Characteristics

This product is sold in two separate packages – the first containing the scented wax centrepiece, the second the ceramic platter. Centrepiece will burn for a total of 15 hours.
